In March 2003 Geopetrol acquired
significant participating interest in 2 major producing Oil fields
located in the central Sub — Salin basin of Myanmar covering
an area of 1800 Sq.Kms namely Yenangyaung and Chauk. |

A recent field study
performed by a third party and Goldpetrol in 2005 highlight a
significant potential, both in the developed and undeveloped areas, to
be tapped by Well Reactivations and Work Over , Infill and
Exploration Drilling. Goldpetrol has now setup a plan to improve Oil
Production in the existing fields and to discover new hydrocarbons
accumulations. |
